Sudden and unexpected health concerns are the most common
reasons we reach out to Western medicine or alternative therapies like Reiki.
As a great contributor
to our physical and mental health, reliance on Reiki in recent decades has gained lots of trust across the world, with many cultures and traditions claiming its healing powers.
Mental balance, inner harmony and overall well being are the foundation of a happy, joyous, and fulfilled life which we all dream about.
As a form of an alternative therapy,
Reiki helps to achieve this by joining the mind, body and spirit.
Gentle, non intrusive yet very dynamic, it offers tremendous and powerful benefits.
As a wonderful healing modality and as popular as acupuncture, chiropractic or massage, Reiki is readily available to anyone.
It offers spiritual growth, improvement and development for those interested in healing and well being, irrespective of age, cultural background, beliefs, religion or tradition.
It is also very rewarding and satisfying.
There was never so much pressure on being attractive, beautiful and looking young. With this in mind, we exercise, attend health clubs, have membership passes to expensive golf clubs and prestigious gyms. We eat our vitamins and try to be careful with our diet and life style. And then we stumble. We still get the heart attacks, diabetes, migraines, cancer or MS. With so much information available on the internet, TV, radio, health magazines and self help books, it's very easy to get lost in this modern approach to life. What is healthy? Which fats are good fats? Which meats should we stay away from? The list of unanswered and confusing questions goes on and on. The overwhelming variety of choices and contradictory knowledge makes us unsure and...lost again.
And here comes Reiki, an ancient hands-on healing technique offering everything we need with no risk or worries.
The words below taken from my favorite book, perfectly describe the spiritual journey Reiki can offer. Rhonda Byrne in "The Secret" writes:
"Remember when you were a child and you looked at life in total wonder and awe? Life was magical and exciting, and the smallest things were utterly thrilling to you. You were fascinated by the frost on the grass, a butterfly fluttering through the air, or any strange leaf or rock on the ground (...) you were full of excitement when you lost a tooth...reindeer could fly... dreams come true..., and you could touch the stars. Your heart was full of joy, your imagination knew no limits..."
